Eleanor Kang, a Nottingham Trent University graduate with a Second Class Upper degree and admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor in 2025, is thrilled to embark on her legal career with our firm. Committed to delivering practical, client-focused solutions tailored to each unique situation, she is passionate about tackling intricate legal challenges and striving for optimal outcomes. During her secondary school years, she served as Head Prefect, honing her leadership and organizational skills – qualities she now applies in her legal practice. Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin, Eleanor is able to bridge communication gaps to better serve the firm’s clients.
Outside of her professional life, Eleanor is an avid movie enthusiast, with a particular fondness for action and sci-fi genres. She also enjoys boxing, a sport that helps her relieve stress and maintain a healthy balance between work and personal life.

Jess Chan Yee Jie
Jess is currently undergoing her pupillage at Shan Chambers under the guidance of SM Shanmugam. She graduated with an LLB (Second Class Upper) from Queen’s University Belfast and has successfully completed the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP). Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin, Jess effectively utilizes her multilingual skills in her legal training. With a deep passion for the legal profession, she is committed to honing her expertise, embracing challenges, and making meaningful contributions to her team.
Outside of work, Jess stays energized with pilates, badminton, and pickleball. She loves exploring the outdoors, sharing laughs with friends, and snapping photos to capture life’s moments. Whether on the court, in nature, or behind the lens, she finds her rhythm and inspiration beyond the legal world.
